This Privacy Policy explains how Ferro Retro, LLC ("we", "us", or "our")
handles information in connection with Tigertown Live — our website at
tigertownlive.com and our iOS app
(together, the "Service"). We built
Tigertown Live to collect as little personal information as possible, and we
collect account details only from users who choose to create an account.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: You can browse the Service's free
features without an account. To purchase and manage an All-Access
subscription you create an account, which requires an email address and a
password, or continuing with Google. We use our authentication provider,
Clerk, to create and secure accounts; through Clerk we collect and store
your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your name and profile
image. We use this information to identify your account, keep your sign-in
secure, and link your subscription to you.
Notification token: If you enable alerts, your browser
or device may generate a notification token that we store so we can deliver
game and news notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in
your browser or device settings.
Subscription information: If you purchase All-Access,
Apple processes iOS in-app payments and Stripe processes web payments.
RevenueCat processes app purchase verification and entitlement information.
We and these providers process customer or app-user identifiers, product
identifiers, transaction or receipt information, and subscription status
(such as trial, renewal, expiration, or cancellation) to verify access.
Subscription identifiers may be linked to your account to recognize premium
access across devices. We do not receive or store full payment card details.
Alert preferences: If you customize which alerts you
receive (for example, choosing specific sports, events, or custom rules),
those preferences are stored so we can determine which notifications to send
you. Notification subscriptions may be associated with your account or
device so we can deliver authorized alerts.
Community predictions: If you participate in fan
"Pick'em" predictions, the Service generates a random, anonymous identifier
stored on your device and sends it with your pick so we can prevent duplicate
votes and show aggregate community results. This identifier is not linked to
your name in community results. Separately, when signed in, your personal
pick history may be associated with your account for cross-device sync.
Contact messages: If you contact us through the form on
our website, we collect the name, email address, and message you choose to
provide so we can respond to your inquiry.
On-device preferences: Settings such as your selected
sport, pinned players, and whether you've seen onboarding are stored locally
in your browser or on your device. When signed in, selected data including
favorite players, news bookmarks, picks, and dashboard layout may also be
stored with your account to synchronize across devices.
Diagnostic & usage data: We and our service
providers process technical and usage information, including device or
browser platform, random visitor identifiers, page views, feature events,
subscription-prompt interactions, timestamps, and recent activity used to
measure visits and active visitors. IP addresses are processed for security
and approximate city/region/country lookup; approximate coordinates may be
stored with analytics records. This is not precise device GPS location.
Our visitor analytics records do not store the raw IP address, although
infrastructure providers may process IP addresses in operational logs.
Pseudonymous identifiers are not necessarily anonymous information.
We do not use advertising trackers.
Browser storage and app invitations: We use cookies
and local device storage for sign-in, preferences, installation state, and
feature operation. Browser/device signals are checked locally to choose
between App Store and web-install invitations. The App Store invitation's
dismissal is not saved permanently and it may appear on subsequent visits.
Following an App Store link takes you to Apple's service, subject to
Apple's privacy policy.
2. How We Use Information
To deliver the alerts you opt into and respect your alert preferences.
To provide and maintain the All-Access subscription and unlock premium
features.
To prevent duplicate votes and show aggregate community prediction
results.
To respond to messages you send us through our website contact form.
To operate, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
To synchronize account preferences, measure feature usage, understand
approximate audience location, and protect the Service against misuse.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of service providers that process data on our
behalf or as independent controllers:
Clerk — secure account creation, sign-in, and
authentication. When you sign in with Google, Google authenticates you and
shares basic profile information (such as your email address and name) with
Clerk on our behalf.
Stripe — secure subscription billing and payment
processing.
Apple — app distribution, in-app payments, and
platform services. See
Apple's privacy policy.
RevenueCat — app purchase validation and subscription
entitlement management. See
RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Hosting and delivery providers — infrastructure,
storage, logs, and notification delivery needed to operate the Service.
ipapi.co — receives an IP address to return approximate
location for visitor analytics. See
its privacy policy.
Google (Gmail) — to deliver and handle support messages
submitted through our website contact form.
Sports data providers — to supply scores, schedules,
statistics, and news shown in the Service.
4. Data Retention
We keep account information for as long as you maintain an account. We retain
notification tokens and alert preferences for as long as needed to deliver
notifications, and remove or invalidate them when they are no longer valid or
you disable notifications. Anonymous community prediction records are retained
to maintain aggregate results. Contact messages are retained as long as needed
to handle your inquiry. Subscription records are retained as required to operate
the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete
your account record and associated personal data, cancel any active
Stripe subscription associated with your account, and remove your sign-in identity from our authentication
provider, except for limited records we must keep to meet legal, tax, or
accounting obligations. Apple subscriptions must be canceled separately
through Apple. Apple, Stripe, and RevenueCat may retain transaction records
under their own policies and legal obligations. Analytics and security
records are retained as needed for the stated purposes; device-only records
remain until cleared or removed. Account deletion does not automatically
identify or erase unlinked visitor records.
5. Children's Privacy
Tigertown Live is intended for a general audience and is not directed to
children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children under 13.
6. Your Choices & Rights
Delete your account: If you have an account, you can
permanently delete it and its associated personal data at any time from your
account settings in the app or on
tigertownlive.com. Deletion removes your sign-in
identity and associated account data, subject to the retention exceptions
above. It cancels associated Stripe billing, not Apple billing; cancel an
Apple subscription separately in your Apple Account subscription settings.
Disable notifications anytime in your browser or device settings.
Manage web billing from your website account settings and Apple billing
from Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your Apple device.
Clear browser or app storage to remove local preferences and identifiers.
This does not delete server-side account records, cancel subscriptions, or
prevent new operational data from being generated if you use the Service
again. Uninstalling the app does not cancel subscriptions.
Depending on where you live (for example, the European Union, the United
Kingdom, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or
request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to
or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights — or ask any
privacy question — by contacting us at
support@ferroretro.com, and we will not
discriminate against you for doing so. We do not sell your personal
information.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the
"Effective" date above when we do.
